Position Summary

The HR Technology Director will lead in shaping the end to end Employee Experience which is simple, seamless and fun! They will work with the existing technology (with Workday being our Core HRIS) to enable this experience, and where appropriate procure / leverage other technologies.

They will ensure that integrations and interfaces across different systems feel seamless for both the employee and the team delivering the experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with key roles across the People Services team and wider People team (Centre of Expertise and HRBPs) to define the vision for the end to end employee experience
  • Collaborate across cross-functional Technology teams within Finastra to define and manage a set of principles which govern the way in which we procure, implement and develop technology enablers across Finastra (e.
  • g. UX / UI, Design Thinking, Agile)

  • Own how this employee experience is enabled by best in breed technology, sweating the full functionality of our core HRIS, and where appropriate procuring / leveraging supporting technology
  • Own the integration strategy, leveraging modern API based integrations and other strategies to deliver a seamless and simple experience to employees and those delivering the experience
  • Be a beacon of innovation in HR Technology, linking with external partners and organizations to bring in ideas and perspective to drive innovation in HR Technology across Finastra
  • Be an inclusive, open and inspiration leader to the HR Technology team, upskilling them in modern HR Technology (e.g. Cloud, Mobile, AI, Automation) and inspiring them to deliver an exceptional experience for employees
  • Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the HR (or other functional) Technology
  • Work with progressive technology ways of working (e.g. Agile, Design Thinking, Product Management etc.)
  • Proven track record of leading effective and high impact teams
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally to define business requirements and translating and delivering them into technology solutions
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Experience of working in an organization which leverages Workday as their core HRIS
