Headquartered in California our Romania business, currently based in Cluj but with remote employees throughout Romania, has multiple departments across various Engineering, Support and Back Office teams and functions.

We’re looking for an inspirational, tenacious and enthusiastic Recruiter, someone who’ll be a Talent Advisor and Subject Matter Expert, and most importantly, a Recruitment Business Partner.

We need someone who can recruit, advise, coach and support the hiring manager community and who is a strong developer of relationships, adaptable to cultures and processes and someone who embraces change and evolution.

This role can be based in Cluj or remotely throughout Romania.8x8 is a fast paced, dynamic environment, candidates will need to be able to embrace and enjoy this culture.

You have the chance to make a difference, but you’ll need to be accountable for that too. As we’re headquartered in the US you will have stakeholders there too which requires some additional adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand their requirements, developing a true understanding of their recruiting needs, creating and driving hiring plans and sourcing candidates
  • Source candidates especially via referrals and direct source. Our referral program is excellent and we’ve a very good rate of success with referrals.
  • All Recruiters have LinkedIn Recruiter to support required sourcing efforts

  • Qualify and Pre-Screen potential candidates
  • Support the interview process and attend joint interviews when required
  • Work with technical evaluators and interviewers on technical testing
  • Manage the candidate job offer process consulting with all relevant people throughout
  • Working closely with HR ensuring our strategies and methods are supportive and complimentary
  • Recommend and drive improvements for building talent pipeline
  • Working with your TA colleagues on ensuring TA has a strong brand across the hiring manager community
  • Ensure regular and consistent visibility with reporting both to TA leadership and to stakeholders
  • Building and networking with talent pipelines
  • Skills and Experience

  • Experience of full life-cycle Recruitment
  • Used to recruiting up to at least 10 open Reqs with multiple role types across multiple departments and hiring managers
  • Track record, understanding (and preferably a network) of recruiting Software Engineering roles with particular emphasis on Java Developers, JavaScript, Front End, Back End, Full Stack, DevOps etc
  • Candidate Experience is exceptionally important to us, you’ll need to demonstrate how this is also important to you
  • Proven experience utilising LinkedIn Recruiter and be a great sourcer, determined to find our next great hires
  • Experience with multiple sourcing strategies and tools including tactical search, referral generation, recruiting events, social media and sourcing campaigns
  • Results-oriented, self-starter who enjoys a challenge and gets things done
  • Understanding of how to manage candidates and hiring manager expectations and have a good close rate of offer to acceptance
  • Ability and experience managing conflicts, multiple stakeholders with multiple challenges can sometimes create differences of opinion, you’ll need to be able to manage this with confident debating skills and passionate empathy
  • Comfortable in a global multicultural environment
  • Interpersonal skills and character to build trust and maintain credibility
  • Organised, a good planner with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, work well in an unstructured environment and handle multiple competing priorities
  • Understanding of the importance of visibility and reporting is essential and examples of how you keep your hiring community informed of search updates and stats
