Responsible for the development and execution of the Commercial Activation Calendar for the assigned channel creating impactful promotions and activations, optimizing promotional spending and in-store execution to maximize shopper penetration at the right ROI.
ACTIVATION CALENDAR :
Design the right activation mechanics by channel using customer and shopper insights.
Develop effective and impactful brand visibility materials by channel.
Leads E2E Lite stage-gate process for the assigned activation and works closely with Brand teams on Full stage-gate process activations.
Prepare campaign briefs to develop Customer & Shopper activities for the assigned channel, articulating identified opportunities to generate improved sales and specify desired outcomes.
Coordinate the successful implementation through sales force teams / BTL agency, monitoring progress on a weekly basis, course-correct where necessary.
Ensures all agreed brand initiatives from the trade calendar are implemented in time and in full.
Responsible for BTL brand-related budget for the assigned channel and activations.
Makes regular market visits to stay in touch with market reality.
CHANNEL STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT :
Drives the evaluation of the assigned activations for the Must Win Battle assessment phase.
Strong contributor to the Annual Commercial Calendar development for the assigned channel that delivers on brand objectives and channels must-win battles.
ANNUAL PLANNING :
Develop an integrated, cross-functional annual activation calendar whilst being agile in adapting plans as required, in collaboration with the Activation Manager.
Capture customer and channel opportunities by integrating field force and customer input on the annual plans.
Allocate and manage budgets & resources, including external suppliers, ensuring on-time, efficient and effective deployment of assets / POSM to deliver excellent execution at POS.
Develop and manage detailed activity briefs both internally & externally.
EXCELLENCE IN EXECUTION :
Continuously evaluates activation performance and demonstrates agility in adapting plans based on results and Field Force feedback as part of the Review Cycle.
Create the activation PICOS / E-PICOS
COMMERCIAL ACUMEN :
Monitors the budgets set for the allocated activations and projects, while ensuring that expenses are kept within the set limits.
Keeps track of all expenses on brands within channel budget and informs the Activation Manager regarding any deviation.
Maximizes productivity of investment through full use of CSP levers and enhances profitability through ZBC.
Drives for continuous ROI improvement of Trade Marketing spend.
Ensures organizational alignment and commitment to effectively roll out the planned activities across Commercial functions (Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing).
Ensures agile ways of working to continuously improve the activation proposition by customer and channel.
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any business-related field
Minimum 3 years experience in Commerce functions (Sales / Marketing / Trade Marketing)
An entrepreneurial spirit with a result-oriented & practical attitude
Strongly developed communication skills : experience with internal and external stakeholder management & in possession of a good dose of persuasiveness
Creative mind, able to think outside the box
Project management experience with a talent for planning and organizing
English language fluent (speaking & writing)
