  • You are responsible for the application of active and passive suspension, damping systems as well as steering and axle systems
  • You design and develop functions for driving comfort and vertical dynamics
  • You define the driving dynamics goals according to customer requirements
  • You are able to perform functional development (CDC i.e.)
  • You are communicating with lead engineers from international teams
  • You oversee the coordination of internal and external development partners
  • You are tuning the systems in road and track tests
  • You ensure the performance and comfort goals according to customer specifications
  • You plan, organize and implement tuning loops on behalf of customers on international proving grounds
  • You take ownership of initiatives and drive them through to completion
  • Designing and delivering technical solutions to business and product problems is your goal
  • Staying abreast of engineering best practices, technology trends, tools, and framework
  • Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering or an equivalent education
  • You have several years of professional experience in automotive industry, preferably in a vehicle dynamics
  • Very good understanding of vehicle dynamics, and good knowledge of general mechanics (force, matter, and motion of physical objects)
  • You have high skills in dynamic driving and vehicle behavior assessment
  • You have a good understanding of the vehicle’s drivetrain, powertrain, and chassis mechanical and software functions
  • You have knowledge about Vector (CANoe and CANape) software is a plus
  • You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
  • You have strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first quality engineering services to the customer
  • You are flexible and willing to travel abroad / domestic, as most of the activity is done on Proving Grounds across Europe
