Serving customers in over 100 countries, our research scientists and engineers continue to invent and accelerate new technologies that will increasingly transform the way people and things communicate and connect.
The Global Services System Integration Europe Organization is accountable for the System Integration portfolio performance within Europe.
This portfolio comprises of SI services for Nokia products, extended services around Nokia ecosystem, selected standalone system integration propositions, and advanced E2E prime integration services.
These Services cover customer network-wide solution implementation and network solutions transformation, including multi-
BD and 3rd party products.
With the creation of a Flying Force team we want to introduce a cost effective centrally managed, flexible, powerful and high responsive E2E and cross domain Solution Delivery Capacity in all countries where our European Customers are located.
The Flying Force team will be hosted in the Global Services Delivery Organization (Romania as prime location, Portugal as fallback) and managed by the SI Europe E2E Integration function.
The Delivery Services assigned to Flying Force resources span the complete project delivery lifecycle and are mostly executed in Customer lab-
field deployment environments.
Flying Force resources are customer facing and actively contribute to build a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering according expectations, and by developing a trusted technical relationship with customer engineering and operational teams.
The Flying Force team will be composed out of a mix of Junior, Senior and Expert level E2E Solution Integration Engineers complemented with Lead E2E SI Expert and Lead Technical Managers.
The seniority level of the E2E SI Engineer defines the complexity of tasks and responsibility assigned within the projects.
A substantial investment for a throughout System Integration training (mainly on-the-job) is foreseen.
The Senior E2E SI Engineer built extended experience in his technology domain. He is able to take full responsibility for the complete integration of a network element in an E2E network solution according to specific criteria and targets.
He is able to solve problems in his area. Depending his level of expertise he can be the SPOC for dedicated functionality in the solution spanning several products.
He cooperates with experts of other areas, works according to standard procedures and test strategies but is able to adapt and tune when necessary.
His E2E integration scope and responsibility grow with his increasing E2E insights. Tasks assigned at expert level require gradually more interaction with Solution Architects and Product R&D level experts.
His insights should help improving Integration services and methods or reducing cost. He is able to work with limited management guidance and is able to determine his own priorities within his tasks.
