We are looking for an amazing Head of Sales in our OLX Hub in Bucharest to coordinate the OLX Sales teams in Romania, Portugal and Bulgaria.

As the leader of the department, it’s important to keep your team motivated and focused on their objectives. As the Head of Sales, you will be driving the growth of the professional sellers on the OLX platform in Romania, Portugal, and Bulgaria.

    What responsibilities will you get when working with us?

  • Lead the professional customer growth across our 3 markets. E-commerce has just gotten started. It’s your job to put OLX on the map for our professional sellers / SMEs, making OLX the go-to place for SMEs to start and run their business online
  • Be the customer advocate for our professional customers. Elevating the success of the tens of thousands of professional customers we already have on OLX (farming), as well as attracting new customers to join OLX (hunting) in smart ways
  • Work together with your business partners in the management team to plan and drive the commercial strategy
  • Drive growth by building an efficient team, increasing customer value and growing the number of professional customers on OLX
  • Together with your teams on the ground you will structure and supervise the processes aiming to achieve customer satisfaction and happiness;
  • Drive the operational harmonization across the three markets
  • Manage, hire, develop, train and mentor the awesome members of the sales teams; employee happiness is as important as customer happiness ;)
  • Design the optimal structures and processes for the team and assess opportunities to improve our ways of working between the teams and with our customers
  • Analyze customer feedback and collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure the voice of the customer echoes throughout the company
  • What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • 7 years of working experience as a Sales Manager, with sizable teams >
  • 20 people

  • Multiple years of experience in e-commerce in Romania
  • You have scaled sales teams in highly competitive circumstances
  • A proven track record for driving increasing customer value (ARPU - Account Management, Farming) as well as attracting new customers in a smart ways (Hunting, Prospecting)
  • A passion for solving problems for customers and your team members
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, numbers and customer feedback drive your decision making
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with leading teams in different countries is a big advantage, not required
  • Experience with SalesForce will come in very handy ;)
  • Fluent in English and native Romanian
  • Based on Bucharest
