This job blends technical acumen, evangelism, program management and business savvy with an understanding of security and an eye for detail with timely execution.
It is the hub for Sales, Legal, Engineering, Compliance, Operation and Marketing teams in helping with overcoming customer security objections and concerns about security, as part of the sales cycle, and helping to close deals quickly and effectively.
What You’ll Do :
Answer customer questions about the security posture of Adobe software & solutions
Providing support to sales organizations by being able to speak to the security posture of applications
Inform customers as to how each solution complies with the applicable security compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2)
Support answering pre-sales technical and security questionnaires
Maintain Sales Security SharePoint site, database of security responses and supporting documentation : whitepapers, technical diagrams and other product security documents for the field to use
Develop, promote and support processes that streamline the sales cycle as it involves security
Represent security on sales calls with customers and for contract negotiations when required
Train Account Engineers, Solutions Consultants and Customer Success Managers on the process for engaging with our team
Support Corporate Marketing and product marketing agendas and campaigns as they relate to security
What you ’ ll need to succeed :
Work experience : At least one year of experience working in security
Knowledge & skills : Must be able to understand software security development best practices, design and architecture
Should understand and be able to articulate the value of common software security concepts such as sandboxing and cross domain protection;
as well as common security vulnerabilities; and testing strategies
Should be familiar with the ISO 27001, SOC 1& 2 certifications and other security standards and be able to understand and articulate the value of the controls within the different domains.
Communication : strong written and oral skills
Must be attentive to detail and organized
Ability to deal with high priority, time sensitive issues
Dependability : meet commitments, work independently, accept accountability, handle change, set personal standards and ability to stay focused under pressure
Legal / contract experience a plus
SharePoint and database familiarity a plus
