Role Purpose :
This is anexciting, challenging role which will lead the teaching businesses not only inRomania but in a dynamic cluster of 5 countries in the EU and Wider Europe.
This is the part of our European regions which offers the greatest opportunityfor growth and innovation in line with our global Junior English LanguageTeaching (JELT) expansion strategy.
Market opportunities vary from country tocountry, and the ability to manage complexity and dispersed teams will be essential.
The post holder will be a dynamic business leader, with a track record of businessgrowth and success in major markets.
The post holder will also act as DeputyDirector Romania, and will play a key role on the Romania country managementteam and will from time to time be required to deputise fully for Director,representing the British Council with the British Embassy and other UKstakeholders in Romania and engaging with a wide range of external Romaniancontacts in different contexts and beyond the English Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
