As a Software Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of software engineers to build the software of instrument clusters for the passenger cars.
You will be responsible to :
Review project quotations;
Plan and track the SW development activities according to customer / internal milestones;
Allocate work and prioritize with the line management in order to meet the project milestones or to balance load;
Maintain contact with the customer in all phases of the project for various topics : requirements, budget, errors;
Negotiate with the customer upon schedule / additional changes;
Be the interface of the SW team to other disciplines (Hardware, Mechanical, Functional Test);
Take decisions together with the team and assume risks when necessary;
Be involved in the internal / external audits;
Initiate task forces when situation is critical;
Maintain and adjust accordingly the budget of the project.
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
Experience as a Software Project Manager or similar role at least 2 years;
Good knowledge of software development, experience of at least 3 years (knowledge of Embedded System is a plus);
Knowledge of software development processes;
Very good English skills in writing, reading and speaking;
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure;
Very good communication and presentation skills.
