Support for Advanced Purchasing in projects;
Responsible for Samples Ordering using SAP;
Involved in price investigations for components in our products' BOM (Bill Of Materials);
Involvement in communication between Continental’s suppliers and internal departments;
Support for sourcing new components : send RFQs (Request for Quotation) and analyze offers.
Frequently used tools : Lotus Notes, MS Office, CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE Tools
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes, and organization.
Be enrolled in a Master's Program or is still in University, but your schedule allows you to work 6 or 8h / day;
Be eager to develop and learn more about the purchasing department;
Have initiative and be self-driven;
Be fluent in English (both written and spoken) and have good networking skills;
Have strong functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
Other skills :
Understanding of the procurement process;
Good negotiation and communications skills;
The ability to work in a team and as an individual;
Basic knowledge of electronics / mechanics is an advantage.
