The Challenge As a member of the Avira / BullGuard Customer Service Unit, you will design, implement and improve on our software tools and highly available infrastructure stack.
You constantly interact with and support a cross functional team located across two locations (Bucharest, Romania and Tettnang, Germany) to proffer and execute the best solutions to a diverse set of interesting business problems which directly impact millions of customers daily.
You evaluate requirements with your team members in order to provide the tools that facilitate the world class Avira / BullGuard customer support experience.
The Team You would be working in a cross functional team, reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis & Second Level Support.
Your team consists of Project Managers, System Integration Specialists, Software Engineers, Business Operations / Intelligence Analysts using Python, NodeJS, AWS, PHP and React to release high quality software products, integrations and maintain an infrastructure stack that includes our omni-channel customer service system, a self service website and a diverse array of customized contact channels.
The team is also responsible for designing and maintaining a highly available data warehouse on AWS Redshift as well as all Business Intelligence reporting.
