By joining us as a RPA (Robotic process automation) Analyst you will be responsible for providing Intelligent Automation application processes and support to business users and IT project teams across the Europe World Area.

You will be instrumental in the support, development, and roll outs of current and future Business Automation applications merging with current Emerson’s chosen global ERP system Oracle.

This role will challenge you with analyzing and understanding business and application requirements, across multiple functional areas including Sales Order Processing, Distribution, Finance, and Manufacturing and recommending appropriate and effective solutions.

In this role you will :

  • Be working on three major areas : Implementation and Enhancement, Automation Process Development and Support.
  • Work on selected projects and programs, leading meetings with the business to discuss and understand their business processes, system and / or data requirements and make recommendations on what actions should be taken.
  • Work with teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design and prototyping.
  • Project support activity including supporting User testing and training.
  • Producing supporting documentation (Functional requirements, Process Flows, Training Material, Functional specifications, Procedures, Test Scripts).
  • Translate user requirements of approved change requests into functional specifications.
  • Develop Automation processes utilizing Blue Prism and Extracta software
  • Participate in the unit testing of Automation process changes for enhancements and bugfixes before release to users for live testing and liaise with users and report back errors.
  • Respond to requests and solve issues raised through the IT service desk, and ensure they are effectively managed and resolved.
  • Work with the Global Automation teams to ensure compliance with existing procedures, offering training and advice where necessary.
  • For this role you will need :

  • 2 years of relevant work experience working Automation tools with one or more RPA Technologies (e.g. Blue Prism, Extracta, UiPath)
  • Higher qualification / Degree. Engineering, Computer Science or Business would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of Business processes Any of the following Finance, Order Management and / or Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Oracle or other ERP system and of SharePoint would be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Good understanding of IT Development Lifecycle and change control could be seen as an advantage.
  • Fluent in oral and written English
