Role Purpose
To engineer (plan, design, build, configure and support) advanced, Central Consumer IMS platform, used for offering Global Consumer services to Vodafone customers.
To build and develop deep Central IMS technical knowledge and expertise within Core IMS Team.
Interacting within Core IMS team with Platform owners, RCSe and CIoT solution owners, Service managers. Interacting within projects with Solution Authorities, platform supplier, Initiative / Delivery managers, other engineering departments.

Web RTC Gateway (WRT) high / low level design, engineering and delivery
WRT Capacity / Configuration management
Responsible for test lab WRT, configuration management, SW acceptance, integration, troubleshooting, security, Life Cycle Management
WRT vendor management, technical engineering SPOC towards the platform vendor (Mavenir) on behalf of Vodafone
3rd Level Support for production platforms.
With these skills, you are a great candidate :
Demonstrates established experience in Network and Service development and implementation ideally in a Global Telco / OTT environment
Proven deep technical skills related to WRT and Mavenir products, including familiarity with IMS / SIP standards, blueprints and specialistic tech documentation
Good knowledge of NFV technology, Public Cloud, SW development, APIs and typical environment problems
Assurance experience having looked after Engineering / Operation domains working both with waterfall and agile approach
Proven experience and attitude to work in multinational and multicultural teams in a complex large company and matrix environments
Good degree of autonomy and ability to self-start on complex deliverables in ambiguous situations
Problem solving and process improvement skills with the ability to implement tactical and strategic solutions as appropriate
Excellent communication skills, ability to explain, enlighten, educate and above all engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
