Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Customer Quality Engineer to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Lugoj! Apply your expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements.

You will drive process initiatives that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Root causal analysis, containment, corrective and preventive action of product / offering issues.
  • External and internal customer facing
  • Drive rapid resolution of customer quality issues. The Customer Quality Engineer will
  • Support Quality leaders to identify the highest impact customer issues and drive their resolution for the customer.
  • Coordinate action plans to address customer critical quality issues, including Root Causal Corrective Action (RCCA) for manufacturing process, design and supplier defects.
  • Organize and influence teams or individuals outside the Quality organization to get results right and fast for the customer
  • Support Quality leaders with data analysis and metrics to ensure key customer issues are resolved or escalated
  • Qualifications :

  • University Degree
  • Some experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of quality processes and instruments
  • Experience with tackling client issues
  • Detailed-oriented, self-motivated and drive tasks to completion.
  • Able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
  • Comfortable coaching and mentoring others in customer-facing roles
  • Good English knowledge
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning processes is desired
  • Knowledge in lean, six sigma tools and problem solving methodology
