You can now make your passions meet in our Passive Safety and Sensorics business unit. We are part of the Autonomous Mobility and Safety business area and we link driving dynamics sensors and surrounding sensors with passive safety systems.
Thus, we are able to develop effective integrated safety concepts.
We are looking both for junior and medior / senior software testers to join our Passive Safety and Sensorics team.
As a Software Test Engineer for Passive Safety and Sensorics your responsibilities will include :
SW Requirements and SW Architecture analysis in AUTOSAR based projects;
Integrate all test environment components (HW, SW & Mechanic) according to the project needs. Ensure testing equipment availability for own tasks;
Test specification, execution and reporting according with the defined test process;
Perform test investigations and evaluate the results of the measurements;
Give feedback and inputs related to the test results to other disciplines;
Use the existing project planning for tests schedule and track your own activities (e.g. follow the existing test activities plan and communicate delays);
Working with several communication protocols (CAN / Flexray / Ethernet) and Diagnostic standards;
Develop automated solutions for test environments, test specification and evaluation;
Improving the test automation approach;
Involvement in the definition of security tests;
Knowledge sharing within the team and group.
A mentor will support you to gradually take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization
University degree in a relevant field (Automation and Computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mathematics and Informatics, Physics or other similar areas);
Good analytical reasoning, problem solving skills and ability to understand complex systems;
Demonstrated experience in software test;
Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis / management;
Demonstrated experience in software configuration and change management;
Knowledge of Automotive Communication Standards (CAN, CAN FD, Flexray, Ethernet);
Competent on use of Automotive testing tools and Software (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc);
Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as C / C++, CAPL, Python, etc;
Good knowledge of electronics;
Good knowledge of microcontrollers;
Very good English language skills (written and spoken).

Is an advantage :
Experience with LabVIEW, Matlab (Simulink);

Knowledge of AUTOSAR standard.
