The Portfolio & Content Coordinator plays an instrumental role in developing our RRP portfolio strategy and in deploying an integrated communication strategy for the IQOS ecosystem and consumer programs across all channels and touch-points aiming to maximize consumer reach and in line with global guidelines and local consumer needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Portfolio strategy coordination :

  • Leads the local deployment of all global product initiatives from initial phase (project submission) to in market commercialization, ensuring the affiliate specificities are taken into consideration when building the marketing plans in terms of consumer profile, communication and distribution channels, potential sales performance, etc.
  • Identifies and explores the potential of new products from global portfolio for local market, considering market trends, competitors’ activities and consumers’ insights and submits business cases for regional approvals.
  • Monitors the post-launch performance and designs short-term tactical actions together with medium long term portfolio optimization and product maintenance strategies.
  • Identifies and develops pricing tactics in order to boost sales by capitalizing on different consumer moments and target audiences potential.
  • Is committed to continuously develop a sound knowledge of local nicotine containing products market, PMI’s multi-category business, consumer’s behavior both LAS and LAU and retail environment by getting involved in cross-functional projects and having a strong collaboration with market research and consumer journey teams.
  • Content strategy coordination :

  • Has an active role in shaping our commercial communication strategy by collaborating closely with Corporate Communication, External Affairs and Digital team, to deliver an effective communication plan that educates Romanian LAS on the game changing role of RRP alternatives versus cigarettes, driving credible awareness and intent to try, while solidifying the loyalty of our LAUs.
  • Ensures an integrated communication strategy is implemented for brands, products, accessories, consumables, services and consumer programs across all channels and touch-points aiming to maximize consumer reach and in line with global guidelines and local consumer needs.
  • Orchestrates the development of the activation plan for new product launches, brand campaigns, occasions marketing or consumer programs by bringing together and coordinating all relevant business streams.
  • Manages the content adaptation, additional local content development and production for our physical channels, while also safeguarding the alignment of digital channels to the agreed brand / campaign direction.
  • Develop and deploy communication messages and materials for all channels, with a focus on consumers' and stakeholders' needs and ensures timely, high quality executions.
  • Coordinates with Digital, Commercial Planning, Key Accounts, Trade Engagement, National Sales, etc.that each phase of the brand activation plan is on track in terms of development and implementation.
  • Follows-up the implementation of each marketing initiative and provide analysis of the performance with recommendations.
  • Ensures continuous control of all Direct Marketing Expenses and analyzes the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of all running brand related activities. REQUIREMENTS :
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in marketing within a FMCG company in a corporate, global environment.
  • Sound knowledge in brand management / product development / campaign development / commercialization activities.
  • Demonstrate analytical, business-acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to work cross-functionally and collaborate.
  • Experience working in agile teams and processes.
  • Very good command of Romanian and English.
