Position Description :
We are searching for a Quality Engineer who will be the continuous improvementleader for Lenovo Hardware products. The primary responsibilities for theQuality Engineer position is to drive daily adherence to the QualityManagement System and Operation Excellence subject matter expert.
Thisposition support Lenovo Worldwide team.
Position Requirements :
Drives quality improvement efforts to enforce an effective Quality ManagementSystem (QMS).
Uses Operation Excellence methodology to improve processes and reduce fielddefects.
Report KPI Metrics and perform Data analysis to drive continuous productimprovement.
Customer advocate in Product Ship Support and Daily Quality roll calldiscussion.
Work with Supplier Quality Engineer on Commodity Quality and Supplier FAactivities.
Verify commodity categorization, structure and accuracy of data in analyticstool.
Support Product Engineer team with Field Quality data.
Responsible for technical quality assurance process and reviews during productdesign and development activities.
Coordinate and facilitate lesson learned review (FuPan).
Able to work with virtual team and management.
Experience working as Quality Engineer on MFG, Service, Development HW.
Server and Storage HW / Service experience / knowledge.
Bachelor is Degree in Industrial / Quality engineering, Business Operation,Project Management, Reliability. 7-10 years of direct experience in Qualityengineering support.
Project Management skills (PMP Certification Preferred), Six Sigma, Strongdata analytic skills
Problem Solving skills, Six Sigma or CQE preferred (ASQ or equivalent)
Computer Skills, Excel, Minitab, Qlik sense, SQL, Oracle Hyperion.
Travel up 5%.
