E-commerce is rapidly growing and redefining the way we shop and buy. In the online space, it is critical that HP and our reseller partners are pushing innovation and best practices for HP products and optimizing the online shopping experience in the age of the endless digital shelf.
This role is part of team of experts and sales teams that are driving e-commerce best practices and results for HP across a range of products.
The Digital Business Development team is responsible for growing and accelerating HP’s ecommerce sales with HP’s largest reseller partners.
This will be an office-based role to provide central support within the Digital Business Development team in Europe. In this role you will help drive sales and accelerate conversion on partner platforms.
Successful candidates are digital experts with good data analysis skills. Candidates should have a background in driving successful digital engagements, be proficient in leveraging data to drive optimisations and have a good knowledge of HP PS and Print HW products.
Provide hands on analysis and recommendations in the areas of SEO / SEM, digital marketing, e-commerce best practices, user experience design best practices, content marketing, web / digital analytics and reporting.
Contribute to strategic plans with reseller’s .com team to grow the size of the business and HP's share on reseller’s ecommerce platform, including resellers third party marketplaces where applicable.
Partners effectively with others in the Digital Partner Enablement team to ensure coordinated, efficient digital support with HP sales teams.
Knowledge and ability to create or provide input to digital scorecards / dashboards for partner .com business.
Work closely with all digital teams at HP to maximize synergies across organizations.
Work closely with HP’s partners on all digital touchpoints on the partner’s platform to improve sales and conversation.
Role will focus on Personal Systems and Print Hardware products with additional responsibility to be product knowledge expert within Digital Business Development team.
Qualifications - Knowledge and Skills
Savvy digital professional with minimum three years of experience driving results across e-commerce and digital strategies.
Proven ability to work successfully in teams.
Excellent analytical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel.
Good knowledge of the HP’s Print and Personal Systems portfolio
Minimum Digital Requirements
Robust understanding of all aspects of digital marketing, across a range of digital media channels.
Experience building business cases / strategy based on data and analytics. Ability to analyze data and Key Performance Indicators in order to create actionable insights.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Clear understanding of e-commerce best practices to drive improved conversion.
Education and Experience Required
University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance.
Typically 3-5 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience preferred.
Consumer and / or Commercial Partner management expertise. End User Acct management as an alternative.
