The role provide support to Order to Cash (OtC) Global Process Experts (GPE) with regards to Finance activities and processes in Global Operating Model (GOM), as per BOC remit.

Reports to : Lead Finance Global Process Expert

Reporting Level : Senior level

Geographic Scope : GBS ENA


  • Work closely with GBS and End Market Finance teams on process adherence and improvement according to Evolution programme scope and plan;
  • Raise CAB3 CRs according to the Business requirements for respective process / technical change;
  • Work directly with EPCoE Finance team to follow-up on progress of Change Requests raised within OtC space and ensure key aspects of process and solution integration are achieved;
  • Coordinate the GOM template update according to the process changes agreed as per the improvement initiatives within Evolution programme in the OtC areas;
  • Actively involved in the OtC Focus Groups and Design Review Groups to provide input and advise on process gaps and improvements, contributing to increase of the internal efficiencies of BAT s Finance processes end to end;
  • Ensure alignment with relevant Marketing parties to ensure dependencies are addressed (Marketing GPEs, End market teams, etc)
  • The TOM process scope for the OtC GPE support are (Finance related part) :
  • Credit Management
  • Collection and Disputes Management
  • Customer payments
  • Cash Application
  • Reporting and controls across OtC process.

  • Finance degree with minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification or 4 years’ experience in a global FMCG / GBS or similar dynamic operating environment;
  • Strong knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP / BPC / BI;
  • Project Management skills with relevant experience of Project and Programme implementations;
  • Expert level experience in the BAT Finance set up and proven capability for translating business model changes into effective TaO / GOM templates changes;
  • Rational decision making, and problem-solving ability is essential;
  • Experience of identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement ;
  • An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties;
  • Strong influencing skills to enable remote influencing at higher levels in a large global organisation.

  • CIMA would be an advantage;
  • Relevant experience in GBS Finance;
