YouGov is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist responsible for driving the implementation of our high-growth B2B marketing strategy by fully leveraging the marketing automation platform (Marketo) and its capabilities.
Working closely with our sector and regional marketing teams this role is key in implementing all campaign related and operational initiatives through Marketo.
This role will also be responsible for defining, maintaining and reporting on marketing and contact data records, along with quality assurance.
Tactically focused on assuring the consistency and quality of data records used within Marketo, Salesforce, and all other marketing technologies that leverage contact and account data is a high priority.
The ideal candidate is someone who wants to work in a dynamic team, has a strong email marketing and data strategies background and a desire to innovate.
What will I be delivering?
Flawless end-to-end execution of global marketing campaigns from asset creation (email, landing page, image upload, form) to post-campaign analytics.
Build and manage workflows for webinars, asset integration, nurture programs, including list segmentation and trigger automation (if / then functionality).
Provide insights to stakeholders for campaign performance, demand generation metrics and KPIs.
Liaise with Sector Marketing Leads to build and execute monthly / bi-monthly newsletters.
Manage database quality and maintain programs to cleanse and enhance our data through tools such as Clearbit.
Cleansing and restructuring the marketing database to support automation and personalisation initiatives.
Support in the evaluation and management of our marketing database and build target segments in accordance with strategy and best practices.
Maintain the quality and integrity of data that enters the marketing database - data trust and compliance are critical to our marketing operation.
Champion best practices and data governance, ensuring the marketing database and email programs comply with data protection regulations globally.
Stay current on digital marketing trends, best practices, and strategies.
What do I need to bring with me?
Demonstrated knowledge and experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with a marketing automation software (Marketo preferred).
Experience with email marketing best practices and program operations.
Experience handling high volumes of email production : setup and execution of campaigns, inclusive of A / B multivariate testing and triggered messaging.
Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce preferred).
Advanced Excel skills, such as pivot tables, vlookup, data analysis, formulas.
Understands the principles of responsive HTML emails, templates and landing pages.
Expert knowledge of marketing technologies and industry best practices.
Some experience with statistical analysis, data mining, data integration or data mapping.
Excellent technical, oral and written communication skills required.
Flexible and fast learner with a drive for continuous improvement.
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent listening skills in order to understand the requirements of the business, great attention.
Personal qualities such as : self-driven, passionate, collaborative, influential, perseverant, reliable and creative.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
