We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst. You will be a valuable business partner, ensuring value creation andsupport the SIOT Sensing and Internet of Things business.

The role is responsible ofthe daily processes in the areas of financial accounting & compliance ofall legal entities registered in the Country.

The role has a matrix report into theSBU Finance Manager. The position will require significant interaction with cross functionaldepartments in addition to Commercial Finance & FP&A, Controllership,COTA, GFC Bangalore, so effective communication skills are essential.

Finance Analyst responsibilities

  • Drive, review and back up for month close processes by ensuring the entity’s financial transactions are properly accounted for and correctly reported through HFM on a US GAAP basis, in accordance with Honeywell accounting policies.
  • f.e. monthly accruals, booking and reconciliation of sales between HSPE and Commissioner, allocation by LOB in HSPE and reconcile with COGS commissioner, timely preparation of Journal Vouchers, determine and submit I / C recharges, follow-up and drive resolution of any issues related to month close activities.

  • Proactively identifying, communicating and reporting P&L and balance sheet exposure matters
  • Partnership withControllership and COTA to ensure operational efficiencies and transparency andtiming of financial results.
  • Ensure accurate and Timely booking of interco recharges in conjunctionwith controllershipUnderstand any balance sheetexposures and ensure inclusion in forecasts and outlooksCalculate monthly accruals asrequired to ensure accurate financials

  • Owns and maintain the SOP (standard Operating Procedures) for the Country activities
  • Other accounting and finance duties where required; f.e. provide codding to AP team for external / I / C invoices, liaise with COTA / Controllership / Regional and global Finance Centre
  • Producing reports that enable continuous measurement and optimization of all key aspects of the business Sales, Margin, Bookings
  • Business reporting support (Management Business Review)
  • Price Deviation Approval request - Prepare margin analysis to business approvers
  • Support to sale guy on specific request - customer analysis credit note request and update on returns / Pricing correction
  • Participate in the AOP / Forecast cycles
  • Qualifications

  • University Degree in Finance / Accounting, Business Administration or related fields
  • First experience as Financial Analyst, extensive experience in General Finance and Auditing.
  • Experience with US accounting is a preferable
  • Fluent English writing & speaking skills required
  • Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion, use of Business Object(BO / BI / HANA)
  • Medium to advanced use of MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to identify & resolve business problems
  • Highly interested in process improvements & bringing added value to the business
  • Capability to analyze data as well as present a clear picture (summary)
  • Hands on & execution oriented (Doer vs Talker)
