Junior Vendor Manager
Role purpose :
The Junior Vendor Manager is responsible to support the overall Vendor relationship management and governance within GCD
Takes part in contract negotiation, JVM analyses any contract evaluating each clause in order to identify and solve any possible issue and risk
Point of contact for GCD senior and line management for relevant issues with the vendor
Responsible for GDC needs analysis and address request to Vendor for discussion and negotiation.
Responsible for monitoring and control Vendor performances in agreement with vendor segmentation framework and guidelines
Responsible for the analysis of Vendors' financial data (HW / SW spent, day-rates, etc.)
Actively contributes in Vendor Risk Management process with the aim of ensuring that the use of Vendors’ service does not create unacceptable potential negative impact on business
Responsible for the definition of vendor reporting requirements

Support the Management of Vendor Relationship - engage with proper Vendor’s representatives in order to establish and maintain a sound and profitable relationship
Vendor performance monitor, review and control vendor performances, share results with GDC management, identify and agree with Vendor improvement paths, implementation roadmap and monitor implementation execution
Vendor Knowledge Base guarantee that all relevant information (vendor’s representatives’ info) and documents (contracts and reports) are kept up to date and properly stored in VM knowledge base
Contract Management contribute in contracts negotiation. Have clearness on each contract’s detail and clauses and provide information when requested
Vendor reporting guarantee that proper reporting on Vendor (performance, true up, sam ) are available and reliable
Project Management leads, when required, project on sourcing topics

Ability to work in team and achieve results
Ability to analyse complex situations in detail and operate with clarity
Ability and sound skills in negotiation with third parties having clear in mind goals and objectives to be achieved
Good communicator, able to drive diverse stakeholders
Basic project / programme management delivery both in agile and waterfall environment
Knowledge of IT technologies and ability to understand and evaluate complex IT contracts identifying potential issues and risks
Vendor Management basic experience (preferable in IT industry)
ITIL framework knowledge (preferable certification)
Project management knowledge / qualification in both agile and waterfall environment : SCRUM, Prince2, Prince2 Agile is preferable
