The role of the Business Intelligence Analyst (BIAnalyst) is to create business intelligence reports and dashboards primarilyusing the Microsoft suite of Business Intelligence tools.
The focus of the roleis on the implementation of data gathering, data model design, report anddashboard creation.
Work with the Senior Business Systems Integration Analyst to create technical specifications;
Clarify requirements directly with the customer where needed - the Senior Business Systems Integration Analyst will coordinate and work with external providers if required;
Adhere to internal standards for coding, project tracking and documentation;
Asist with the integration of data from source systems into a data warehouse;
Support the development and delivery of training material / user manuals / support procedures (incl. proof reading and comments on initial drafts);
Translate the business requirements into technical documentations;
Ensure that the all BI issues are resolved within the published SLAs.
2-3 years of work experience;
Knowledge of T-SQL and basic / good SQL skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Strong communication skills in dealing with internal customers from a range of functional areas;
Ability to work with remote and virtual project teams;
Technical documentation skills;
Fluent in English both written and spoken;
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) knowledge is considered a plus;
Microsoft Power BI knowledge is considered a plus;
