You will use your skills and training provided to investigate and resolve the customer query in order to secure payment for the invoice.
This communication is done through a case management system and phone calls. Investigation into call data, billing data and comparison to contract is required with a keen eye for detail.
Liaising with multiple departments including Account Management, Deployment and Customer Care is essential to the role, therefore a professional attitude and excellent communication skills are fundamental.
Conduct billing analysis using multiple systems to help solve customer disputes
Use Microsoft Excel to calculate required changes to invoices / credits where required
Send billed data, reports and copy invoices to customers as required
Ensure timely resolution of billing queries through our case process
Liaise with third parties, the customer and internal contacts
Assist with documentation and system improvements of all billing related processes
Answer and (re)direct calls to the correct contacts within the business and answer queries where possible
Log all Cases from emails and calls
Complete and assign cases
Escalate complex complaints and tickets to management / senior billing analysts
Investigate recurring billing issues with a view to automate future billing without error
Help improve overall billing accuracy and satisfaction
Be the Face’ of the billing department
Complete other ad-hoc billing tasks and queries
Cross check orders and invoices against contracted terms to ensure billing consistency from contract signing to invoicing
Experience in billing, finance or accounting
Advanced Excel skills and Salesforce would be a plus
Good prioritisation skills under high workload
Comfortable handling customers in different situations
Problem Solving and results-oriented
Well organised and self-motivated
Excellent English communication skills
Strong internal & external communicator with strong interpersonal skills
