SPOC for the Near Miss coordination and communication. Key Responsibilities and Tasks : To know the regulations and the instructions of labor security regarding the works that they lead and to apply the corresponding measures to prevent accidents and occupational diseases.
To participate to trainings, testing and other activities scheduled by the external service of occupational health and safety in order to implement all the legal measures applicable to the workplace.
To inform immediately the Human resources department or the Management Team about the associates who are in poor physical and mental condition (drunkenness, advanced fatigue, use of drugs or psychotropic drugs, etc.
To keep updated the safe and safety dossier and individual sheets of the associates To organize the first day safe and safety training for new associates and prepare the individual sheet according to the information provided by the Human Resources department.
To carry out the periodical trainings at the workplace approved by the management of the company and as per local law requirements To support the H&S training and practices for the visitors To permanently inform the associates regarding the application of the non-dangerous working methods, norms and regulations of health and safety To take measures to ensure hygiene, order and cleanliness in the workplace.
To check periodically the status of work equipment and the good organization of the workplace. To take measures to equip the workplace with an adequate number of fire extinguishers and medical kits for first aid.
To support the risk assessment process, near miss reporting and solutioning. Act as SPOC for the near miss process, guidance and cascade appropriately.
Ensure implementation and usage of TDM methodology for the near miss process To immediately notify the management of the company and the contact person from the external provider of health and safety in case of a work accident, occupational disease or a dangerous incident.
To participate in the investigation of these events. Provide regular reports to the Human Resources and the Management Team on relevant health and safety activities.
