The Business Analysis Lead is responsible for supporting the Business Unit with relevant business and financial analysis to ensure that the objectives of the Business Unit are met.
The focus is on understanding the pricing, sales and profitability performance of the business broadly across all product lines and by KOB.
The main stakeholders for this role, in addition to Business Unit, World Area and Global Finance are the BU Sales, PMO and Customer Care Groups.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a liaison between the BU and Sales Companies to ensure the integrity and accuracy of sales companies’ Trade Orders, Sales and Backlog reporting, by taking charge of verifying, as well as offering support in the process.
Responsible for Trade Orders and Sales reporting & analysis by KOB, including the weekly Flash reporting, provide details on actuals results versus plan by the main business categories and visibility on upside and / or risk versus monthly / quarterly POR.
Responsible for the monthly trade backlog reconciliation, including past due backlog; work proactively with the countries’ FP&A teams, BU PMO and Customer Care to identify and fix any date management issues and ensure accurate HFM reporting.
Active participation in month end close and POR routines, responsible for consolidating Trade Orders POR and providing Backlog analysis that facilitates KOB3 Trade Sales POR.
Implementation of project profitability monitoring in cooperation with PMO team.
Provide routine and ad-hoc analysis by customer, product group, KOB, destination and industry, acting as a Business Partner for the Sales & Product Management teams and help in developing the business and achieve targets & goals.
Develop, design & automatize reports and dashboards.
Proactively seek and work on non-finance projects to contribute to the strategic directions and plans of the business unit.
Communicate effectively with direct management, WA HQ Finance personnel, Sales Companies and Factories as well as with other team members of the ISV team
Ensure reporting integrity of HFM, JDE and Oracle
Preparation and active participation in sales companies’ budget and mid-year reviews
Relevant university degree in accounting, finance or economics
Excellent communication skills
Excellent IT skills inc. Excel, PowerPoint. Programming knowledge an advantage
Knowledge of JDE, Oracle, HFM an advantage
Strong team player with the ability to work on own initiative is essential
Fluent in English, other European languages an advantage
