We are currently recruiting for a Business Services and Compliance Manager to join the team in our Bucharest office on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Business Services and Compliance Manager leads a number of activities in ACCA’s national offices. Activities include implementing processes to ensure that ACCA complies with the laws and regulations in the market, including maintaining business and other licences.
Other activities include health and safety, business continuity planning, environmental sustainability planning and facilities and estates management.
The role requires collaboration with Market Heads and global support functions including Finance, IT&T, Legal and other key stakeholders within ACCA to ensure achieved outcomes are aligned with ACCA’s strategy.
This role is based in our Bucharest office and has responsibility for Romania, Czech Republic and Poland.
Support the office by promoting, facilitating and championing effective risk and compliance management. Ensure that effective controls and mitigating actions around operational and compliance risks are implemented and monitored, particularly with national office finance procedures and procurement guidelines
Identify gaps in current compliance processes, systems and procedures and implement actions to close those gaps
Lead the development, maintenance and testing of business continuity plans for the office in accordance with ACCA's business continuity guidelines
Lead the delivery of the offices health, safety and environmental requirements, conducting risk assessments where required
Day to day management of the office environment including contract management, catering, I.T support, printing and stationary
Support market colleagues where practicable with the organisation of internal events (typically training and workshops)
Manage the Global Business Services operational and capital budget which includes submission of annual budgets, re-forecasting and variance reporting in line with ACCA’s budgeting cycle
Provision of compliance reports in respect of all office activities (estates management, facilities management, health and safety, security, national office compliance matrix, annual audit compliance checklist etc.)
