The Digital Transformation Project Manager is part of Sustainalytics’ Research Digital Transformation Team, which sits with Sustainalytics ESG research division.

The team sets the vision, priority setting and business requirements of Sustainalytics’ research platforms and research-focused (smart) technology applications.

It acts as a connector between multiple research teams and Sustainalytics’ digital product managers / owners in the ICT team.

The Digital Transformation Project Manager will be an advocate for digital transformation and diffuses technology applications through all stages of research processes.

He / she will be able to work collaboratively with all teams to coordinate the releases of (new) analyst databases. The Digital Transformation Project Manager has a strong understanding of the latest digital trends.

He / she is responsible for developing business requirements and to translate these into technical requirements based on stakeholder dialogue.

He / she successfully releases new technology solutions to the research teams to reduce costs, improve quality, speed and agility of the research process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contributes to setting the vision for analyst databases together with other digital transformation managers of the Research Team and Digital Product Managers / Owners of Sustainalytics ICT team;
  • Acts as a liaison between Digital Product Managers / Owners, the Digital Innovation Team and Research Teams;
  • Contributes to delivering the analyst databases agenda through collecting ideas to design, enhance or redesign analyst databases by overseeing roadmap from the business side;
  • Gathers data and steers the process to monitor the health of analyst databases. Collects, reviews and prioritizes incoming items for ICT partners, specifying business requirements (together with business analysts).

  • Prepares decision taking processes in cases there are several courses of action possible. Liaises with Digital Product Managers / Owners on the roadmap planning, scope management and sprint planning;
  • Communicates digital vision and monthly progress on the technology roadmap to senior leaders in the Sustainalytics ESG research division;
  • Prepares communication materials about upcoming releases which allow research teams to anticipate upcoming releases.

    Is responsible for analyst database release management to users. Candidate plans, coordinates, manages and schedules releases in close collaboration with Digital Product Managers / Owners.

  • Supports research teams with assessing the impacts of new digital solutions, conducting user acceptance test and successfully integrating these in research processes;
  • Creates change materials and notifies all relevant business partners on or prior to release

  • Assesses the ongoing business benefits created by Sustainalytics’ digital solutions;
  • Acts as a technology ambassador and coordinates change management initiatives;
  • Resolves any issues and instigates corrective issues as appropriate (issue management);
  • Manages and mentors business analyst(s) as appropriate.

    Master’s degree

    3+ years’ experience in ICT-related roles, with proven track record of either business analysis or release management

    2+ years’ experience in people management is a plus

    Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in an information systems environment

    Has the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, individually as well as part of a team

    Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Is able to engage / connect and build effective relations at different levels, while managing competing interests.

    Is used to operate in an international environment

    Has strong project management and execution skills, sets clear priorities and is result oriented

    Is innovative and creative

    Has a positive attitude to change, with a can do’ attitude and proactively addresses challenges

    Demonstrated passion for sustainability

    Meticulousness and attentiveness to detail

    Experience with project / process planning tools (Jira, Jira Align).
