Are you ready to help us make the future? We have an opportunity for a Sales and Distribution Manager CEE to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team from Bucharest.

Responsible for selling Mid Mass Segment Fire Detection and Evacuation Solutions portfolio in Central East Europe. Development of existing distributors, finding, and generating new distribution and value-added resellers in order to sell the company solutions to Mid Mass Segment End Users.

Creates awareness and demand for company products in this segment. Reports directly to Sr. Regional Sales ManagerResponsibilities : MMS Strategic Business Development :

  • In cooperation with Direct Manager and Territory Managers prepare and implement a strategic business plan, agree annual targets to drive aggressive and consistent growth of mid mass segment products sales along with the actions required to execute it successfully
  • Perform deep market analysis by countries in order to identify specific market needs, trends, local norms and standards / certification status and evolution, market size and profitability, position and behavior of other players, existing and potential profitable new routes to the market
  • Select, propose, adapt, and lead the launch of new products and services for this segment including adjacencies. Support for country specific certifications of products.
  • Growth of Distribution and sales Retail channel :

  • In cooperation with Channel Marketing and direct manager propose and implement a distribution and retail sales growth plan to ensure effective and efficient value creation and remuneration of performance along distribution and retail chain
  • Pricing and rebate model, activities to ensure local products availability by transparent inventory management, competency development of distributor’s staff, co-marketing, demand generation activities (fairs, advertisement, roadshows), leads management and synergies with other complementary Honeywell building technologies
  • Reporting, CRM system, SIOP Forecast

  • Maintenance of the sales forecast for MMS products to support the SIOP Demand review, reporting of activities in the CRM system
  • Visit reports, travel schedules and monthly reports to the Regional Manager
  • Visit frequently and support Distributors, Designers, End Customers, consultants and relevant authorities to collect inputs, to promote via presentations and roadshows the benefits of using HFS products and the importance of highest standards of the industry
  • Responsibility to provide inputs and support for implementation of MarCom and Marketing activities in the region in accordance with the approved Marketing and Communication plan for MMS products and distribution channel.
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree or equivalent, preferred in combination with Technical / Engineering Degree. Minimum 5 year similar experience in the fire and security environment is preferred
  • Possessing a successful track record of business development and building strategic partnership relations; with good experiences in managing distribution, channel conflicts and pricing issues.
  • Experience of NPI new product introduction, negotiation skills to decision makers for a multi-national company, preferred in the security technology business.
  • Reporting and frequently communication on daily base
  • Caring and advising, presentations, exhibitions and road shows, lobbing
  • Proficient English language skills mandatory. Any other language in the CEE region is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel more than 50%. Driving license
