Responsible for drafting support documentation
3rd level troubleshooting of issues, vendor relationship and license management, business continuity planning, capacity planning, audit / compliance, disaster recovery and platform maintenance
Incident coordinator to ensure all resources work on the most relevant activities
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of activities and statuses
Deliver technical training / mentoring to Junior Platform Support Security Analyst and Senior Platform Security Analyst in areas such as operational incident handling / mitigation, platform analysis, platform support, security best practices, event analysis and correlation, and risk management
Analyze the data, perform platform OS, disk, network performance analysis for troubleshooting and researching platform issues, discover and identify the source of problems and escalate operational incidents as needed
Understand defense-in-depth strategies and apply those to Customer environment
Provide seniority and oversight
Enrollment in, or completion of, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Security, Information Security, Information Technology, or Mathematics (or equivalent work experience)
Min 3 years professional experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee, Crowdstrike or similar vendor technologies
Strong troubleshooting, reasoning and problem solving skills
Good Networking and Windows Unix Operating systems knowledge
Must have excellent client service skills, very strong written and verbal communications skills
CarbonBlack / Symantec / Sophos / Mcafee / Crowdstrike certified.
Possess active industry certifications such as ITIL Intermediate, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, or OSCP.
