The Procurement Team Leader hasresponsibility for developing world-class service level.

The position requires tactical andstrategic thinking to help develop service level operational excellence andprocedures as well as the leadership and supply chain effectiveness to driveimplementation.

The purpose of this position is tocreate focus and execution excellence in the area of service level, teameffectiveness and driving Procurement KPIs.

The success of this position willbe contingent upon the support of cross-functional teams (HUBs and SUBs buyers,technical buyer, procurement specialist, warehouse administrators, Engineeringteam and wider Supply chain teams) and the prioritization of identified servicelevel improvement opportunities

  • Set and drive team andindividual goals in alignment with MEAS European strategic plan
  • Conduct performanceevaluations in a timely manner for direct reports
  • Ensure proper planningof day-to-day activities of team
  • Maximize efficiencyacross all functions
  • Drive service levelexcellence through high performing team and proper planning
  • Identify, plan andexecute actions to meet and exceed agreed KPI’s
  • Ensure Emerson businessprocesses are consistently implemented and applied
  • Support implementationof agreed strategies and objectives for the group
  • Be the first point ofcontact for assigned KPIs within procurement team for day to day activity,escalations and supplier communications
  • Drive a breakthroughKPIs for both HUB and SUB procurement teams
  • Deliver SPEED inprocesses
  • Drive deployment of MEASSupply Chain strategic initiatives within team
  • Define processes andcommunication gaps and find improvement solutions whilst working closely withbuyers, functional managers, suppliers and supplier performance engineeringteam
  • Have accountability forassigned administrative matters, escalations and resolution of issues
  • Drive continuousinitiatives and improvements throughout the procurement
  • Give input and feedbackto functional leaders in order to increase processes performances
  • Ability to foreseechallenges and proactively address, find solution for seamless impact
  • Ensure proactive 2-waycommunication with internal and external stakeholders & flag any abnormalsituation to higher management
  • Organize regular teammeetings and 1 to 1 meeting with direct reports
  • Provide regular updateson team performance and initiatives to higher management
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain / Engineering
  • 2+ year experience in a similar role or in an international customer support environment
  • Language : English advanced level (mandatory); other language is an advantage
