Lead Document Control Assistant will be responsible for processing internally and externally generated documents throughout the lifecycle of the project per the defined department and project work process.
This role is accountable for receiving, organizing, controlling, filing, issuing, and updating project files. This role will assist with organizing the final document deliverable to the customer.
Manage the receipt of documents for external and internal sources
Track the flow of document review
Manage project distribution matrixes
Checks compliance and quality of documents
Work with several different types of Client FTP and SharePoint sites for file transfers
Compile data for project data books & manufacturer’s record books at project completion
Respond to internal and external document requests, utilizing strong interpersonal skills and building relationships with engineering and construction team
Oversee compliance to Document Control rules and procedures
YOU MUST HAVE
High School degree or equivalent
Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Must be able to strictly adhere to established document control policies and procedures
Demonstrates problem solving skills
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Acrobat Adobe
Demonstrates ability to learn and adapt to various computer applications quickly
Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of document management systems (DMS)
