Job Description
Main responsibilities :
Plan, lead, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of complex client-based projects and deliverables
Identify program / project milestones, critical success factors and resource requirements
Ensure that risks are proactively identified with mitigation strategies developed and monitored
Ensure that project issues are resolved and appropriately escalated
Maintain data related to key risks and issues including the status and progress
Engage project stakeholders regularly by keeping them informed of delivery progress, risks and issues and manage expectations on deliverables
Lead initiatives involving a significant level of business or technology transformation and organizational change
Collaborate efficiently with partners and vendors to deliver projects according to plan
Manage budgets and align project deliverables to expected business benefits
Negotiate changes in scope, budget or schedule with sponsor and steering committees
Analyze, solve problems and research project elements as required
Provide proactive leadership and direction to Project Management and Delivery teams
Take decisions for an optimal project delivery
Provide support in team formation, coaching and mentoring
About the project
We are working with the world's leading supplier of systems for short-staple fiber spinning. In their complex ecosystem we are redesigning and improving the processes of their sales application, together with the involved system.
The application will be used by the client's sales department throughout the entire sales process. Starting from the manufacturing process, preparing the offer and return of investment, until fulfilling the order, the application can also work offline and it is integrated with other solutions from the client's general software architecture.

Qualifications
Proven track record of successful complex Software Development projects delivery (minimum of 5 years experience)
Solid experience using various delivery methodologies, testing practices & release strategy
High standards of communication in both Romanian & English (German is an asset)
Strong interpersonal & client facing skills
Very good presentation skills
Excellent understanding of Agile delivery principles and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban & XP
Familiar with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS)
Technical background and good understanding of engineering practices (i.e. CI / CD, TDD, code review, refactoring, branching strategy, etc.)
Passionate about continuous improvement
Experience in managing large fixed price projects is an asset
Nice to have
PMI-ACP / PMP / PRINCE2 certifications
SAFe training or similar certifications
