About the Role
Pathlock has an immediate opening for a web developer to join our rapidly growing marketing team. This role would be best filled by someone with a strong background in front-end web development, who has previously worked on high-performance websites and web applications.
Pathlock’s marketing model will be driven in large part by our ability to turn our website visitors into new contacts. Maintaining our website’s usability and experience is key to our revenue objectives.
This role will work closely with Pathlock marketing team members to design and develop new website elements that help convert visitors into engaged prospects.
We’re a startup, which means there’s always lots to do. At a minimum, your primary responsibilities will include :
Execute designs for our web properties (we’ll soon be hiring a full-time creative designer to work alongside you)
Work closely with our content and demand generation teams to plan for upcoming changes and additions to the website
Evaluate and suggest tuning opportunities for performance and user experience improvements
Monitor our landing pages and forms for issues and identify areas for improvement
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices related to conversion optimization
Ensure that systems integrated with our website (Hubspot mainly, but also other modern API-driven SaaS applications) are working optimally
Good knowledge of SEO optimization tactics and Responsive web design (RWD)
Familiarity with ECMAScript 6 specification
Working experience with Sass syntax : SCSS
Working experience with GIT, basic knowledge of node.js and GULP
Experience working with WordPress-hosted sites and related plug-ins and optimization tactics
Nice to have
Experience with the WordPress Gutenberg block editor If not, our previous agency will provide a helpful background
Experience in Agile software development practices
