NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Messaging Services Advisor - US Hours to join our team in Bucharest , București (RO-B) , Romania (RO) .

Role Overview

Builds, implements, and manages products / solutions for hosted and remotely managed messaging environments. Maintains messaging infrastructure including messaging server administration and messaging client troubleshooting and resolution.

Ensures smooth integration of all messaging systems in a particular environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance on existing operating systems
  • Evaluates, engineers, tests, recommends, and implements secure infrastructures
  • Documents platform standards and processes for ongoing operations
  • Gathers business requirements for system design and validates recommended solution for Change Management
  • Schedules and coordinates installation and maintenance of software / hardware on the network and ensures compatibility of all communications and computer hardware / software
  • Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures
  • Provides ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements, innovations and solutions
  • Responsible for following company specific systems engineering standards
  • Acquisitions : Add acquisitions’ messaging environment under NTT Data Services, planning, development and sustaining included in this process
  • Acts as a resource for system escalation issues; executive support escalations : 20-30% time consuming work per week most client / outlook, remote access, troubleshoot, feedbacks
  • RCA for high severity issue, CRQ Deployments during weekends and holidays
  • On Call Support : shift for all required work and done during weekends
  • Lead operation resource for internal and external projects : represent Messaging and Collaboration team, following project assignments and schedules
  • Key Skills

  • Strong SME (5+ years’ experience) knowledge of the following technologies :
  • OCS (2007)
  • Lync Server, Skype for Business 2015-2019
  • MS Teams and Skype for Business Online
  • Exchange on premise (2010 to 2019) and Exchange Online technical proficiencies
  • Microsoft Identity Services, such as Active Directory, Azure AD and Azure AD Connect
  • Intermediate knowledge of IP Telephony
  • Advanced knowledge of Exchange Server, Exchange Online and integration between MS Skype for Business / Lync and Exchange Server
  • Knowledge of Server and Networking principles pertaining to enterprise environment
