Job Description - Oracle Cloud Product Enablement Specialist (190001MJ)

This position is responsible for creation and maintenance of eLearning content for Oracle Cloud Sales Reps and Solution Engineers (PreSales) teams.

The Enablement specialist will produce courseware for a variety of high-volume fast-paced projects to enable Oracle’s sellers to go to market with their customers.

From Oracle to culinary school and back again. Bonnie Carlson Kaypaghian uses the skills she learned to create recipes for her daughter’s Type 1 Diabetes and has written a cookbook to share with the world. #LifeatOracle

The ideal candidate for this position should have :

  • Ability to strategize and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define measurable learning objectives and goals, and present solutions / plans
  • Proficiency with developing eLearning courseware using tools such as Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia or other best of breed authoring tools
  • Creative approach for training development and delivery for eLearning
  • Apply various design process models (e, g, ADDIE), learning theories and types in an AGILE or project workflow environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and attention to detail
  • Exceptional Project Management skills
  • Self-starter with ability to manage time and objectives independently in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge related to projects in order to execute on courseware scripts and design
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in relevant subject is a plus

  • Verbal and written fluency in English, working knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Production of graphic arts or illustrations skills for low and high fidelity scenes, including use of characters
  • Typically 5 plus years relevant experience in Sales and Sales Enablement plus knowledge in the Applications, Technology or Hardware sectors is needed
  • Develop and deliver a variety of global, role based, or line of business sales and solution engineer training (eLearning; light instructor led)
  • Manage the design, development and deployment of product, process and skills enablement programs that drive elite performance within Oracle’s global sales organization and partners
  • Build and maintain valued relationship with senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate with regional sales, sales consulting, alliances, and product management teams
  • Ability to work U.S hours to support shifts covering 12pm-9pm or 3pm to mid-night. Additional compensation for night hours and expenses for taxi service are availableExpected Travel : Up to 10% domestic and international travel anticipated annually

    The Instructional Designer will produce the courseware to support the training programs defined by Program Managers. This includes conducting needs assessments to identify strategically aligned learning and development initiatives, designing and developing training courseware in a variety of delivery modes (e.

    g., instructor led training, self-paced training, virtual, blended), managing external vendors to collaborate in content creation, as well as providing input on measures regarding business impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions.

    Contribute to the design, develop, and deploy world class blended learning programs that are experiential, drive behavior change and increase performance within our global Sales business units as directed by senior staff.

    Develop learning curricula that align with internal learning and performance strategies. Build and maintain valued relationship with key stakeholders (Regional sales management, performance teams, instructional design teams and external vendor executives).

    Develop assessment approaches that conform to accreditation strategies and processes. Evaluate the business impact of learning programs through use of learning and performance metrics.

    Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Typically 5 plus years relevant experience in Sales and Sales Enablement plus knowledge in the Applications, Technology or Hardware sectors is needed.

    Coaching and Project Management experience across a variety of delivery mediums. Deep experience designing and developing learning programs across delivery mediums including mobile learning, e-

    learning, virtual learning, live simulation, and live classroom. Proficient in establishing learning and performance metrics and measurements (ROI & Benchmarking).

    Strong in building relationships and maintaining relationships. Experience in analyzing business needs and selling value to customers.

    Previous project / program management experience. Experience delivering facilitation, training, coaching and / or development of learning programs.

    Self starter with high energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment. Excellent communication, facilitation and persuasive skills, both written and verbal.

    Ability to build strong relationships and navigate through senior stakeholder discussions. Experience leveraging standard eLearning tools and web-

    based meeting tools. Team player. Leadership skills. Business travel of up to 30 percent annually may be expected of this position.

    Knowledge of Instructional design authoring tools preferred. Fluency in English, working knowledge of other languages is an asset.
