As a Business Systems Analyst you will participate in building and enhancing our regulatory reporting software application, dealing with European regulations like EBA and ECB as well as local specifications.
Agile / SCRUM is our prevailing software development methodology which means you will be part of a multi-disciplinary scrum team and work closely with other software engineers and functional analysts under the guidance of a dedicated Product Owner and Scrum Master.
You will have the opportunity to play a role as Business Systems Analyst by turning your interpretations on regulatory requirements into functional and business requirements, use them in the development process in our state-of-the-art software application and be involved into a variety of tasks part of the development life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities :
Play a key role in monitoring, interpreting and implementing Regulatory changes in the financial sector
Create specifications for implementation and testing
Create data requirements and other specifications for clients
Work closely with the technical team to ensure they have a clear understanding of requirements and support them through the development cycle
Analyze, design & document current and future modules and report collections against the solution’s data model
Understand the Software Development Life Cycle and develop an understanding of current products and technology in order to design and implement solutions to meet the business needs
Answer detailed functional questions from internal and external stakeholders and give the necessary guidance to the implementation teams that configure our software at client’s side.
Ensure product documentation mainly for functionalities you have developed
Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies
Key requirements :
Education : Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance & Banking
At least 3 years of working experience in Business Analysis, Financial Industry or other equivalent experience
Advanced level of English
Understanding of specific regulatory content, such as Financial or Capital Reporting sets. Expertise on regulatory content in topics such as IFRS, USGAAP, Market Risk & Liquidity reporting.
Ability to work in a dynamic, multinational and agile environment driven by compelling regulatory events and other deadlines
Working knowledge related to IT Business Systems and / or programing languages / databases (would be a plus)
Responsible, methodical and organized with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication (written and oral) skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships
