We are looking for a Tooling engineer (based in Orastie).
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Responsible for tooling run-off activities, in-plant installation and training plant staff on new tooling.
Works directly with production engineers, mold experts, tool builders, process engineers to coordinate resources and achieve deliverables with respect to machine design, machine build and controls systems
Recommends equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analysis and proposals for integrating machinery, equipment and tooling into the manufacturing process.
Leads refurbishment, evaluate outsourced tooling designs to ensure construction, costs and lead-times are in line with quoted costs.
Support the construction of new tools, evaluate the cost for the lifetime of the molds
Responsible for refurbish process input from a tooling feasibility and manufacturability standpoint. Develops new tooling supply houses on innovative tooling design capabilities and repair techniques, create engineering drawings of designs to facilitate fabrication and assembly.
Management of outside tooling vendors.
Works with manufacturing to trouble-shoot problems, upgrades, retrofits, set-ups, methods development, and the development of process parameters.
Assist in improving the productivity and quality of existing processes. Root cause analysis and corrective action plan implementation
Ensure tooling reliably produces parts that meet print tolerances and capability requirements.
Generate corrective and preventive actions for tooling software and hardware part;
Create and maintain Manufacturing Instructions related to production equipment's;
We are looking for :
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or other related technical discipline preferred.
3 to 5 years Tool experience in a tooling environment.
Strong computer skills required : CAD, Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of tooling systems.
Strong commitment to quality.
