About the role

You will be involved in all aspects of software development; design, build, test and run cycle. No big up-front design, but small iterative steps continuously delivered to our customers.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned, experienced software engineer. At Web1on1 we love new technologies and you will be able to quickly master these.

Even more, you are probably the person proposing these new technologies. You’re equally comfortable discussing business requirements with the product owner and writing well-engineered clean code.

Responsibilities

Working remotely and managing your own time, you will be expected to :

Deliver to deadline a series of tasks assigned to you in weekly sprints against your project goals;

Produce finished code that is clean, professional, tested and submitted to the correct repository before a final sign-off test and delivery to the live environment;

Attend weekly online stand-up meetings where you will be able to clearly communicate progress on your projects, highlight areas of concern or offer your expertise to your fellow developers.

Requirements

5 to 10+ years as a professional software developer;

Solid experience with JavaScript technologies in combination with MV* frameworks;

Focus on clean, well-engineered code;

A highly collaborative and communicative nature;

A keen interest in data-driven product development : analytics, A / B testing.

Familiarity with these are a plus :

MongoDB, Redis;

Testing Frameworks (Mocha, Karma);

Git;

Continuous integration and continuous delivery (Ansible).

We are working on a software solution that is currently unique in the world. We are excited about this process. Web1on1 is servicing A-level brands, currently in the Netherlands, Belgium and DACH area, but we will be expanding further into the EU in the future.

It is exciting to be a part of this adventure. We are independent, self-funded (autonomous) and growing fast. This allows us to make our own decisions and choose our own path.
