Job Description :
Responsible to simulate at design phase of new concept line to do Discrete Event simulation for future state scenario’s to calculate several KPI’s ( Eg : Cycle time analysis, Calculate capacity, Utilization, no.of resources etc. ).
Develop simulation models for what if scenario’s using plant simulation and ability to create additional objects by developing the program in plant simulation software’s.
Performs material flow analysis, Optimized layout design.
Executing simulation runs, result analysis and interpretation.
Data collection from existing systems / processes and validate the data with statistical analysis.
Layout & Process plan to achieve required TAKT time for high mixed model.

Perform What If Analysis of desired Automation Systems
Benchmark and Industry Connect
Engineering Degree in Production / Mechanical;
Formal training and certification in Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Computer literacy in the areas of Engineering Systems Software ( Siemens Tecnomatix , AutoCAD, CATIA), Graphics.
Siemens Tecnomatrix factory simulation software
Strong knowledge in statistical data analysis, production systems, and Lean principles.
Discrete Event Simulation and Time Oriented Simulation
Experience in designing and optimizing layout for assembly and machining process.
3 years+ relevant experience in discrete manufacturing, preferably in Automotive
Knowledge on manufacturing processes
Six Sigma Lean certified will be an added advantage.
Good communication skill in English.
Project management skills too assess task effort, manage priorities and report status.
Interpersonal skills and working with global diverse groups internal and external customers
Actively pursues personal learning by continuously updating knowledge, skills, and abilities; pursues stretch assignments to build own capabilities.
