Job responsibilities :
As a Sales Analyst you are responsible for collecting, analyzingand reporting sales data for the Professional Tools distribution business inEMEA and for supporting the sales planning and forecasting processes.
Thefunction offers broad insights in sales planning, marketing and operations. Youwill be working in close relationship with the sales, marketing and financedepartments.
Youwill report to the Manager Sales Planning & Pricing EMEA (based inBelgium).
Essential functions :
Sales DataManagement and Analysis
Play a key role in collecting and analyzing data to identifybusiness trends and insights for regional sales management.
Collect sales data from different business intelligence softwareapplications
Execute periodic analyses on key products, channel partners and strategicprojects
Proactively support regional sales management with continuouslyupdated business insights
Fulfill data and reporting requests on demand
Support monthly sales reporting and forecasting processes.
Maintain models for monthly review of sales plan
Prepare consolidated reports for monthly submission to Europe HQ
Work with Sales, Logistics and Finance to streamline forecastingand reporting processes
Support monthly Sales & Operations meetings with businessanalytics
Build monthly State of Business presentation for executivemanagement
Support annual Sales Planning process.
Maintain models used for building regional sales plans
Improve accuracy of forecasting models based on analysis ofmacro-economic indicators
Consolidate regional sales plans into one EMEA forecast and submitto management
Follow up on EMEA-wide and local sales initiatives, work thoseinto consistent sales plans.
Requiredqualifications and experience :
You hold an academic degree in economics, business, finance,marketing or related fields.
You have a relevant first experience in business analysis,sales / marketing or related fields.
Personal characteristics :
You have excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills and basicknowledge of business intelligence software.
You have strong analytical skills and you like to crunch numbers independently.
You are able to set priorities, cope with busy periods and meetdeadlines.
You are fluent in English, both verbally and written.
You are eager to learn and have an intrinsic curiosity forbusiness processes and results.
