The successful candidate should be a strong problem-solver, passionate about software quality assurance, and able to build highly scalable solutions.
Responsibility
Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Executing tests on software usability
Design and develop test cases
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
Design and develop automation scripts when needed
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
Provide timely solutions
Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
Provide support and documentation
Ensuring that new software products are ready for consumer use
Working with development teams to prevent issues with new products
Requirements
At least 3+years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
Experience using common testing tools for web services Postman / SoapUI / Swagger UI
Experience with any scripting language is an advantage
Experience using Git, Jira (or similar)
Experience with Linux OS
Knowledge of SQL
Good understanding of HTTP, web services, REST APIs
Basic knowledge of networking principles
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Information security experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
