This Social Media Manager will be part of a global team supporting all Oracle University Marketing Managers and working across the globe.
The initial contract will be for 6 months with the intention of extending for a year after this and then extending annually.
PURPOSE : The Global Social Media Manager will lead, develop, execute and maintain Oracle University’s presence in the social media world through various channels.
This person will need to collaborate with global stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that align with the current business goals and initiatives.
Tactically, this role will involve content creation, execution to drive community engagement and measurement of the impact of these social media activities as well as the management of Oracle University’s LinkedIn Navigator licenses.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing effective social media content strategies and social marketing programs.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Execute and deliver Oracle University’s social media campaign strategy to increase engagement and campaign conversion
Manage strategy, presence and editorial calendar for Oracle University’s social media networking sites including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
Work with stakeholders and field marketing managers to develop online events / campaigns that foster engagement and drive web traffic or leads
Create, curate, adapt, and manage content as appropriate for each specific channel and campaign; this includes writing texts for posts, creating assets and landing pages, sourcing images and graphics, editing videos and other content received from product and field marketing teams
Define KPIs and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to report on campaign effectiveness and maximize results
Create, curate, adapt, and manage content for internal employee advocacy tool for sales teams
Work with customer support teams to manage engagements coming from social media
Deliver training and support on social selling tools for sales people
Administer Oracle University’s LinkedIn Navigator licenses; this includes assigning and removing licenses, reporting, scheduling training, measuring the usage and proposing actions for increasing KPIs
Stay abreast of best practices in the social media space
Constantly test new strategies, new content, and new campaigns to constantly iterate and improve content marketing effortsJOB REQUIREMENTS :
5-years of experience in marketing with at least 3-years in social media marketing and digital content management, preferably with a premium brand within IT industry
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can be leveraged to support different campaign objectives
A proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing plans from conception to implementation; the ideal candidate will have deep digital knowledge and will have shown the ability to work successfully in a large organization
Strong creative skillset with excellent copywriting and communications skills; additional language skills are a plus
Design skills are a plus
Demonstrated functional competency with social media technologies; experience with Oracle SRM is a plus
Proficiency using tools to track and report on campaign engagement, response rates and traffic
Exceptional organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills; needs to be extremely comfortable working with virtual teams
Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines
