Search Dates is a popular dating site that's grown to millions of users. Our small team is distributed globally. We get the work done but don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Our code already has a pretty high unit test converge (80-90%) but the QA work is mostly manual - we want to change that.

We are looking for a senior automation engineer that will join us full-time to help set up and maintain automated testing setup.

Someone responsible, who likes that we don’t have meetings, and everyone’s too busy shipping to look over your shoulder and make sure you're doing the same.

You'll enjoy the freedom to express yourself and have a say in the technology choices moving forward.

Responsibilities :

Setup and maintain automated testing suites

Integrate it into our CI / integration and deployment workflow

Cooperate with frontend and backend teams as functionality changes

Help rest of the QA team with automating their tasks

Requirements :

You have at least 3 years professional experience as automated tester

You have significant experience with at least two test automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Playwright or similar) - we have some opinions on what we should use but it's not set in stone - you are welcome to make an impact on the technology choice.

You are great at communicating with backend and frontend teams and helping them deliver stable code to production

Have knowledge of English at a level that allows for easy communication

You are used to working remotely and love it

Nice to have :

Cypress - we already have a limited suite that integrates our frontend and backend code, as a good place to start.
