Job Description Summary
As our Lean Leader you will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line (Service Shops included).
You impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning / execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities
Demonstrate Leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for identified model business unit(s) / areas
Utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short and some long-term goals
Act as a change agent in the implementation of demand flow utilizing lean manufacturing tools and methodologies
Manage the full implementation of the lean management system including strategy, value stream activities, daily management, and architecture / infrastructure.
Advise and coach site leadership and their teams on the lean business system.
Sensei / Coach gemba coaches on the facilitation of week-long kaizen events that are aligned with the achievement of business site level metrics.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing & Projects and Initiatives.
Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Lean Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training
Strong project and team leadership experience
