We are expanding and we are looking for Quality Assurance Analyst / Application Software Tester for work at home all over Poland or following locations : Krakow, Warsaw and Wroclaw.
The Quality Assurance Analyst / Application Software Tester position is responsible for ensuring that products are measured against predetermined standards throughout the life cycle of the client system.
The standards are defined by the project specifications and established Business rules. The core initiatives of the position include development, execution and tracking of test IT plans and test scripts in conjunction with the system development plan, and the management of system rework.
What you need to have is?
Education / Knowledge :
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from a four-year college, university or equivalent.
Experience / Skill :
Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in business Applications
Must have strong experience with UI, backend testing, automated testing and data validations
Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle methodology
Knowledge of Relational Database concepts, Infrastructure and Internet Web based applications
Testing all aspects of the product / system like function / component, system and regression.
Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management (if required).
Prepare Test Plans, Test Cases, Sign Off Reports, Traceability Matrix and any CMMI documentation as required.
Maintain and monitor the defect tracking tool to ensure identified issues are resolved prior to program launch.
Work with the Test Lead to develop and maintain quotes and time line estimates as required.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with a variety of persons and groups both inside and outside of the Market Optimization group.
Good communication both verbal and writing skills.
Administer User Acceptance Testing
Cooperation to pitch in and help others as needed when the work load justifies the need
Must work closely with the offshore team with at least a couple of hours of overlap.
Must work closely with the offshore coordinator and also provide timely updates to the lead.
Take on the role of project(s) leadership as directed by the Test Lead.
Lead and perform testing duties for the products and report status to the Test Lead.
Ensure all defects found during testing are reported and tracked within the defect tracking tool.
Work with the development team and relevant stakeholders to resolve issues found throughout the SDLC, and also provide detailed test execution records.
Identify the right automation candidates within testing and involve the appropriate team.
Always work towards up-skilling and cross-skilling one’s self.
