The Big Data program that you are about to enter will answer to the following business needs (as defined in the strategic development directions et by the Group) :
Improve the Bank’s knowledge of the customers and their needs, thus increasing the net revenue;
Improve the risk management and the fight against fraud;
Increase operational efficiency;
Allow easier regulatory reporting.
The Big Data program also aims at decommissioning 6 infocenters and replacing the reports provided by these infocenters with reports extracted from directly from the DataLake
The challenges we are facing are various :
Make the best out of the use cases that bring value to the business;
Improve the knowledge about the Group’s customers by cross-referencing the data from various sources;
Define a Data strategy working closely with other departments (both in Business as well as in IT);
Visualize and explore the data (structured or non-structured);
Answer to the needs of the business in an Agile manner;
Implement ad customize tools that return the data according to the different needs and profiles of the users.
Your Role in a Nutshell :
Functional / Technical BigData expertise;
Understand the business needs and how the proposed solution is in line with those needs;
To be a source of proposals about the Big Data solutions;
Work with the BAs to determine the technical details of the application in terms of functionalities, performance, user experience, maintenance and backup;
Take part in the design and writing of technical specs for the development in collaboration with the solution architect;
Ensure the development and the bug fixing;
Take part in the acceptance testing and validation;
Make sure that the technical architecture and the operating conditions are respected;
Ensure the evolutive and corrective maintenance of the solution;
Data acquisition, data cleaning, data processing (management rule);
Data formatting according to business requirements;
Demos / retrospectives / planning (Framework Scrum).
A little about You :
Experience in working with structured data(DWH) using TALEND (preferably) or other ETL (INFORMATICA, DATASTAGE);
Experience in SQL / NoSQL data bases;
Knowledge of AGILE SCRUM and Kanban methodology;
Nice-to-have (or willing to develop skills) : HIVE, HADOOP (HDFS, MapReduce ), Hunk / Splunk, Java, Spark, MicroStrategy;
English at an advanced level and the will and availability to learn French.
