As a Partnership Lead, you will work on establishing and growing relationshipswith startups and scaling technology companies in order to enhance our abilityto serve our Wholesale Banking customers globally.

Your goal is to set upstrategic partnerships. Different partnership models are possible, ranging fromING as a client, go-

to market, investment (from seed stage minority investmentsto full M&A) it is up to you to determine and validate how to best capturethe long term value and propose this to the relevant internal decision makers.

You own the process from start to finish and are responsible fromscouting partners, through executing a Proof of Concept until signing astrategic partnership.

You will coordinate different potential partnerships indifferent stages in parallel. In this process, you work closely with ING’sFintech Team, ING Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions and the relevantbusiness lines.

Help drive a new partnership strategy for ING inAsia

Identify partnership opportunities with fintechsand startups jointly with our Fintech scouting team

Define combined offerings and joint valuepropositions that address key customer use cases

Lead all aspects of execution : from assessmentand prioritization to negotiation and execution

Drive stakeholder alignment

Set-up and execute a proof of Concept with clearsuccess metrics to validate the long term value of a collaboration for allparties involved

If the Proof of Concept is a success, prepareand close a commercial agreement or investment together with relevant decisionmakers (INGV, M&A, Business heads)

Capture Proof of Concept learnings and educatethe organization

Guide the partner company through internalapproval processes and working with legal, procurement and other supportingfunctions

Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline ofpotential partners

You have 7+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital,corporate development or in buyside Mergers & Acquisitions at an investmentbank, private equity / VC or consulting firm
