We are looking for a technology-passionate Business Analyst, who understands the entire digital ecosystem and has experience in the Finance industry.
Our new teammate will be the driver of the discussion with our business stakeholders with the purpose of conducting requirement elicitation, analysis and proposing solutions to the business problems leveraging his / her financial understanding. Your responsibilities :
Create a value proposition for our customers / prospects, by identifying and analyzing pains, gains, customer jobs
Create the high-level product roadmap from the value proposition / product vision
Plan business analysis approach and activities
Identify and define business needs
Understand business architecture and assess capability gaps
Conduct and drive discovery workshops (onsite or offsite), interview, focus groups etc. with the business stakeholders (Requirements Elicitation)
Document requirements using existing tools and processes (Draw.io, Confluence, Jira etc.)
Requirements management and traceability (ability to track requirements from pre-sales to the end of the implementation cycles).
In agile projects, the Business Analyst will act as a Product Owner, being responsible for the product backlog
Set up the Requirements Sign-off Strategy with the customers
Explain the requirements to the development team from a more technical perspective (adjust communication-based on the audience)
Work closely with the project manager regarding the project plan, risk management, acceptance plan, scope management, stakeholder management
Take part in the estimation process (timescales, resources, business analysis effort)
Determine the process for requirements change that needs to be approved by stakeholders
Provide technology solutions consulting to finance organization and determine standard applications and components for business solutions.
Support financial instruments including loans, money market business partners, and various bank interfaces.
Ensure end-to-end process integration across all business processes. Provide technical and functional leadership for financial application implementations.
Ensure design continuity across finance implementations and implement systems to support financial business processes.
Your Skills :
Fluent in English and German.
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. being able to influence the customer into adopting the industry best practices)

Your Experience :
2+ years Experience as a Software Business Analyst
Knowledge of Warehousing and / or transport / logistics processes
Experience in handling a lot of source data, logics, tables, rules, structures
Preferred experience in Wholesale Finance processes
Preferred experience with Accounting / Stock / Inventory valuation (ERP) projects / systems
Preferred experience with projects that were delivered using different methodologies like SCRUM, WATERFALL, RUP, DSDM / ALF
Involved in software pre-sales activities : Bids / Opportunities, Sales Pitches, RFI / RFP response
Experience with software development projects that were delivered using different methodologies
Experience as an IT Business Analyst / Software Analyst in projects for the Finance industry
Technical background or experience in a technical role (software development) is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management or related field
