Activities will include :
Defining technical approaches, FPGA firmware implementation (VHDL), HW acceleration such as co-processing avionics of satellites or spacecrafts or some of their instruments on-
board, software / hardware codesign, budget size and cost estimating, hardware / software implementation for space applications, documentation, verification / validation and certification of embedded hardware / software (mainly based on FPGA and FPGA+microprocessor).
Definition architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for operational or simulated space hardware / software systems.
Providing technical support for VHDL implementations and assisting in selection of the most appropriate FPGA and / or microprocessor platforms in line with the implementation, targeting space applications which in most cases will refer to radiation tolerant devices.
Tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
Applicants should be versatile as this position will require overseeing or interfacing a variety of tasks, covering aspects from multiple disciplines : embedded flight hardware / software, simulation environments, algorithms and telemetry systems.
Academic degree : Bsc or Msc. Electronics Engineer
Level of English : Advanced
